   Making a bequest is a powerful act for positive change.  Nonprofit organizations such as Cat Depot receive many of their most significant contributions in the form of bequests. We are deeply grateful to those caring individuals who through their will or living trust make a gift to support our work over the years to come.

   Help comes in many forms and sizes from printing services, paper, office supplies and ink cartridges to gently used cat toys, beds, climbers and carriers.  Please check out our wish list to see how you can help make a significant difference in the life of a cat in need.
   
   
4. Donation Can
   Do you work at a business with high traffic? A hardware store, beauty salon, car wash or any place where people congregate? Please stop by Cat Depot and pick up a donation can. Once it is full, simply call us and we will pick it up. All proceeds benefit the cats.
   
   
5. Buy and Sell on eBay for Cat Depot
   

   Cat Depot is part of the eBay Giving Works program.
   So, you can support our mission when you buy and sell on eBay. Here’s how:

   Buy
   You can find whatever you're looking for on eBay – from baseball cards to new cars and more. When you do, shop for items that benefit us. You can get a great deal and support Cat Depot’s mission at the same time!

   Sell
   You can also support Cat Depot when you sell on eBay. Just designate our organization to receive 10-100% of your final sale price the next time you list something great.

   Did you know that charity listings often get more bids and higher prices than regular eBay listings? Boost your sales and support our critical work while you’re at it! Plus eBay gives back to you too, with a fee credit on your basic selling fees.

6. Donate a Kuranda Bed or Tower
   The "Donate A Bed" program was created to enable pet lovers to help bring a bit of the same comfort to these deserving shelter animals that yours enjoy at home. The beds are sent directly to the shelter in the donor's name at a discount of about 30%. donate here

   • Display the Florida "Animal Friend" license plate. Money earned from purchases of this plate enables Florida’s Department of Motor Vehicles to give grants to nonprofits to help them to fund their spay & neuter programs.    • Purchase flea preventatives and pet supplies from 1-800-PetMeds. Either call or click here, and 1-800-PetMeds will donate a percentage of the sale to Cat Depot (excluding prescription items).
     
     
   • Cat Depot is proud to be a partner in the Beneva Flowers Helping Hands program. Each time you order flowers across town or even around the world, just say the Cat Depot name online or by phone. Beneva Flowers will make a 5% donation to Cat Depot. 9. Volunteers are the lifeblood of any nonprofit. Please, check out our volunteer page to see how you can help.
   
   
10. Spread the word. Online, in person, or friend-to-friend, let people know that overpopulation creates a vicious cycle of devalued feline lives.

    Part of responsible pet ownership must include helping to end their euthanasia and homelessness. These are issues for all animals, but especially for cats, who are given up as unwanted in far greater numbers than any other species in the U.S. Please encourage everyone you know to spay and neuter their pets, and thank you for your generosity!
    

At any given time, Cat Depot's adoption center contains over 100 cats and kittens that have been relinquished to our care or are homeless. We also:

• answer questions about feline care and behavior
• connect individuals with community resources
• assist the public in times of crisis
• perform educational outreach to address the feline "knowledge gap" that exists today

All of this is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters, yet there is so much more to be done. It is only with your help that we can continue to support our current programs and move forward.
