Volunteer Coordinator (full time)

Cat Depot is seeking a polished and positive Volunteer Coordinator to work in partnership with all departments, including cat care, adoptions, medical, events, and communications. The position is fast paced and ever changing. Candidates should be able to multi-task and have strong leadership capabilities with a patient, compassionate demeanor. The Coordinator will recruit, train, and assign volunteers, provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteers, create and distribute various communications and publications, and participate in meetings, special events and programs. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Constant Contact, Power Point and Publisher, possess accurate record keeping skills, and demonstrate a high level of organization, time management and planning abilities. Experience in the nonprofit arena is a plus. Most importantly, the candidate must enjoy working with a wide variety of people on a daily basis. Open seven days a week with extended hours, the candidate must be flexible to work weekends and evenings. Health benefits are available, as well as excellent opportunities for growth. Veterinary Technician (full-time)

Cat Depot, a no-kill rescue and adoption center, is expanding and seeks an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technician with two years’ experience in a clinic environment for surgery, dentals, in-house lab work, and wellness appointments. Ability to work with the public and staff is a must. Candidate should have leadership skills and be a positive team player. Strong computer and phone skills are needed along with experience handling cats, both domestic and feral. AVImark experience a plus. Must have flexible hours and be able to work weekends.
