Saving Pets Challenge

Save a Kitten

And help us win $50,000!

Cat Depot is taking part in the
2017 Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge!

In 2016, more than 1,100 kittens came through Cat Depot's doors. Many are tiny, in need of care around the clock. Many need veterinary treatment, and all of them need food and vaccines.

This kitten season, we expect more new arrivals than ever - and each healthy kitten costs an average of $148 before they're ready to find their furever homes.

To be able to help them all, we have signed up for the 2017 Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge. This is an online fundraising contest taking place through the month of May, and there are many wonderful prizes to win for the organizations raising the most money.

First prize is $50,000. That prize money could help us take in 337 kittens!

The money we raise in the challenge will, among other things, go to purchasing two more kitten incubator units. Items sorely needed by our medical department.

Small kittens can't keep their body temperature up and they aren't even able to eat if they get too cold. The incubators provide a controlled environment optimal for the little ones. This year, we're getting an unprecedented number of tiny kittens, they're all in dire need of help and warmth,
and two more incubators would do a world of good.
