Sheila Golden - Harmony

Harmony by Sheila Golden"My art expresses my love and appreciation of animals and the natural world: the beauty, mystery, energy, and vitality. Although on the surface my work contains familiar images, it is also about dreams and symbols of experience as they express the mysterious and spiritual."

Sheila grew up in New York and studied painting in Provincetown, MA, with painter Morris Davidson. She showed in New York in a Greenwich Village Gallery. After a successful career as a graphic designer and illustrator, she received a BA degree in Fine Art from Sonoma State University in California.

Her artwork has been published in print and in film, including Sesame Street Television and KQED Public Television. She has received ribbons at festivals and was included in a Calendar of Women Artists.

Sheila has shown in galleries in Santa Fe, NM, and in San Francisco, and she is included in the Museum of Art and Whimsy in Sarasota, Florida.
