Client Relations Specialist / Reception 

We are seeking a full-time Client Relations Specialist / Receptionist for our affordable-care full-service veterinary Rose Durham Cat Care Clinic. This position is the face and voice of the clinic and responsible for professional, calm, very face-paced, high quality care of a diverse clientele from advisory board members to homeless pet parents. A cheerful, smiling demeanor is essential. We are a team-oriented organization with a respect for leadership capabilities offering excellent pay, health, and pet benefits. 

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills; AVImark a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work with all types of personalities.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, and changing schedules to accommodate Cat Depot growth.
  • Strong detail oriented multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Veterinary experience preferred. Will consider shelter, or human medical experience.
  • Knowledge of cat medicine and behavior.

Veterinary Technician 

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or CVT with a minimum of two years' experience for surgery, dentals, intake, ordering, inventory, tracking, and cleaning.

Veterinary Assistant 

Cat Depot is seeking full time highly motivated individuals to join our growing team! We are an all feline Shelter and Medical Clinic located in Sarasota, Florida. 

We are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to learn. Some previous Veterinary Assistant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Veterinarian, and Veterinary Technicians with compassionate and high-quality patient care.

As a Veterinary Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring daily overall health and mental well-being of shelter cats.
  • Assist will all aspects of animal care as needed.
  • Assist with intake of new cats, including exams, blood draws, fecals and deworming.
  • Administer medications as directed.
  • Assist with vaccine appointments of adopted cats.
  • Scheduling of follow up appointments.
  • Assist in surgery and dentals including monitoring, cleaning instruments and wrapping/sterilization of packs.
  • Data entry.
  • Cleaning of clinic and surgery areas.
  • Willingness to work with the public and volunteers.
  • Educate fosters about health and maintenance of their foster cats.
